icelandic piano festival
Slagharpan singur is an Icelandic piano festival founded in 2024. The festival features Icelandic piano music in the foreground from various periods. The festival consists of diverse events such as concerts, lectures and presentations.
A large group of students and teachers from the country's music schools will perform at the festival together with foreign guests and guests of honor. The festival is open to everyone and admission to all events is free.
The board and planning committee of the festival consists of Peter Máté, Dr. Nína Margrét Grímsdóttir and piano players Erna Vala Arnardóttir.
