Hugarflug, the annual research conference of the Iceland University of the Arts, started today in Hamri.
Sigmundur Páll Freysteinsson, research project manager, opened the conference and Kristín Eysteinsdóttir, rector of LHÍ, welcomed the guests and introduced the writer Andri Snær Magnason, who gave the opening talk of the day.
Over fifty people present talks at the conference and the participation of foreign speakers is greater than ever before.
