The graduation ceremony of the Department of Music of the Iceland University of the Arts begins on Friday, March 27 and lasts until the beginning of June. At the festival, the audience has the opportunity to get to know the diverse graduation projects of the students, where different media, styles and approaches meet.

The festival begins with a graduation work Dmitri Drobko, Expectations: Sound & Movement, which will be performed in the Dance Workshop, Hjarðarhaga on Friday, March 27. The work is done in collaboration with the dancer Leevi Mettinen and explores the interaction between sound and movement.

On Monday, March 30, a graduation concert will take place Viktor Árna Veigarsson in Smekkleysa. There he performs together with the bands Kollaps and Forsmán, as well as under the name Meinsemd, and gives an insight into his dynamic musical creation.

Further graduation concerts will take place in April, with the highlight of the festival being on 26 -29. April in The hall in Kópavogur. There will be a varied program where students will take the stage with ambitious music projects.

The graduation ceremony will then end on June 5 with the graduation work of Rashelle Reyneveld in the Black Box in Laugarnes.

Admission is free to all events of the festival and everyone is welcome.
