Context - Autumn 2025

Context is a lunchtime lecture series of the music department of the Iceland Academy of the Arts where speakers present their projects, research and artistic creation in tone and speech. The series opens a discussion about music in a wide area context, from creative process to academia and the societal role of music.

The series includes both traditional lectures and lectures with musical performances (lecture recitals).

The lectures take place at noon Dynjanda at 12:15 and are open to everyone.
