The Iceland University of the Arts is a member institution Centers for Digital Humanities and Arts (MSHL), which works on development and innovation in the field of digital technology in the humanities and arts.
The first annual meeting of the MSHL will be held Tuesday, November 26 from 13 to 15 in Edda, the house of Icelandic. The center's main projects will be reviewed there for the past four years and three interesting talks will be offered:
- Eiríkur Smári Sigurðarson, Chairman of MSHL, presents the annual report for the years 2020 -2024.
- Owen Hindley, a digital artist, discusses the creative use of digital technology in the arts.
- Freyja Rut Emilsdóttir, the managing director of Sýndarreality ehf., talks about the dissemination of cultural heritage digitally.
- Emily Lethbridge, research associate professor at the Árna Magnússon Foundation for Icelandic Studies, shares an insight into his travels through the digital worlds of the humanities over the last two decades.
