The fashion exhibition of fashion graduates in fashion design from the Iceland University of the Arts took place in Harpa on Tuesday, May 6. There, fashion designers of the future showed their graduation works.

Last year's attendance record was matched at this year's fashion show Up to 600 guests attended the show, which was a success. Visitors and relatives of the show were over the moon with the result.

Nine fashion designers graduate from the program this time, but they are: Arnar Freyr Hjartarson, Guðlín Theódórsdóttir, Hallgerður Thorlacius, Hannes Hreimur Arason Niysti, Íris Ólafsdóttir, Jóhannes Óðinsson, Kari Thor Barry, Klara Sigurðardóttir and Vilborg Björgvinsdóttir.

The final project of students in fashion design is an individual project consisting of free study, design and creation of a line of fashion clothing under the guidance of instructors.

Then Anna Róshildur wrote and performed music for the fashion show. But she positioned herself in the middle of the stage and set the tone for the fashion show.

The fashion exhibition of graduates in fashion design is part of the extensive program of the graduation ceremony of the Iceland University of the Arts. The work of the graduates will later be on display at the BA's graduation exhibition in architecture, design and art in Hafnarhús, which opens next May 17.
