Portra Variable is a neo-Grotesque lithograph drawn with the intention of being between a readable text font and a demonstrator font The font takes its name from the film type Kodak Portra, whose design takes inspiration from the world of camera shapes and diagonal lines were drawn from the designer's personal cameras and adapted to neo-Grotesque lithography The font is variable (variable) giving it a wider weighing palette The bookwork Nobody falls further than to the ground shows the lettering in use along with a collection of photographs.

Portra variable is a neo-grotesk typeface designed to function as a text font and a display font. It's name originates from the Kodak Portra 35mm film. The design is inspired by camera aesthetics, shapes were drawn from the designers personal camera collection and adapted to a neo-grotesk style. The typeface has a variable width function. The book „No one falls further than the ground“ is a collection of photographs by the designer and serves as a text demonstration for the typeface.
