Early in the process, I came across suitcases in Red Cross containers - items that used to carry memories but had lost their purpose and were supposed to end up as trash There, my line - shapes caught fire waiting to be rediscovered.
The bags and I became one thing in the process; I took them apart, layer by layer, poked the shapes and found beauty in what was supposed to be uselessI wanted to use all - even the wires, this invisible skeleton that no one cares about.
The line is made from non-traditional materials: suitcases, plastics and materials that were never intended for wear I didn't always control where the route was held, sometimes it was the material that dominated the journey.
The process made me think:
Every time we go on a trip - does the mind go along?
Maybe the discrepancies in our journey are inside us, not in the things we draw after us.
