Soulmates
„Stop-motion“ quickening work, 10 minutes.
Soulmates discuss our closest relationships and the feelings that come with them, through the dreamlike imagery of ancient stories The work references, among other things, the story of soulmates from Greek mythology, where humans are said to have had eight limbs and two heads before we were divided into two by Zeus and thus condemned to eternal pursuit of the other half Other stories that came to my mind are Adam and Eve from the Bible, Ask and Embla from Norse mythology, Orpheus and Euridis from Greek mythology, and Izanagi and Izanami from Japanese mythology Although they are stories belonging to distant and foreign times, I feel that I see my own feelings reflected in their timeless metaphors. With the work, I intend to highlight how connections between different myths shed light on the subconsciousness of humanity.

The work references the story of souls from Greek mythology, where humans are said to have had eight limbs and two heads, before Zeus split us in two, condemning us to an eternal search of our other half. Other stories that influenced me from the Bible, Ask and Embla from Norse mythology, Orpheus and Eurydice from Greek mythology and Izanami from Japanese mythology Even the stories believe to a distant and certain themes, Iwan I's "Iven thought the stories believe and certain themes to my knowledge, even though the stories believe and certain themes in my own theories, I's "Even thoughts and reasons believe the parents towards a certain times and reason in my knowledge".
