Salóme Katrín Magnúsdóttir
BA New Media Composition

Salóme Katrín Magnúsdóttir is a musician from Ísafjörður, where she took the first steps in her music studies. She moved to Reykjavík in the fall of 2015 to study at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Helsinki, but soon found out that music was on her mind. She said goodbye to the university, started singing studies at the FÍH Music School and graduated from there in the spring of 2020. Since then, Salóme has released her own music to the good reviews of critics as an audience, performed at countless concerts both in Iceland and abroad and worked with a number of musicians on various projects. Salóme began studying at the LHÍ composition course in the fall of 2023, where she will graduate this spring with a bachelor's degree in new media composition.
