About the project
The Future Is Now confronts the instability of visual truth in the age of AI. Kate Scott Stewart's mixed-media installation views to question their perception and slow down their consumption of images. Set against the familiar backdrop of Icelandic experience, the exhibition employees subject to ambiguity and cognitive dissonance to reveal the influence of AI's potential powers and the collective vulnerability it experiences.
