BA Instrumental Composition
Jófríður Ákadóttir (b. 1994) is a singer, composer and instrumentalist, known for her solo project JFDR and as a founding member of the bands Samaris and Pascal Pinon. She has composed music for films, television and video games and was chosen artist of the year by The Reykjavík Grapevine in 2018. In 2024 she won the Icelandic Music Award for her album Museum. Jófríður is now finalizing her studies in instrumental music composition at the Iceland Academy of the Arts.
