In the project, I explore the potential for the use of urban infrastructure to increase the relationship of the population with their local environment. By transforming the city's traditional well closures in canvas for artistic and social expression I try to give life to this invisible object An object that usually no one pays attention to gets a new role The design process began with a conversation with the people of the city In that work, I got the residents of different neighborhoods to give me an insight into what characterizes their neighborhood and the immediate environment Sentences and quotes from this work are then used for inspiration in the depiction of the well-ends The project is intended as an encouragement to all of us to experience our local environment, beautify the city and increase solidarity and connection in society.

In my project, I am exploring the possibility of using urban infrastructure to increase the connection between people and their environment. By transforming the city's traditional manhole covers into a canvas for artistic and social expression, I aim to breathe life in to this invisible object. Something that used no one pays attention to gets a new role. The design process begin with a conversation with the city's residents. In that process, I got the residents of different neighborhood to give me an insight into what characteristics their neighborhood and environment. Phrases and quotes from them used for inspiration when illustrating the human side covers. The project is intended as an incident for all of us to experience our local environment, document the city and increase solidarity and connection with in society.
