Eik Haraldsdóttir was born and raised in Akureyri. She began her music studies on oboe at Akureyri's Conservatory of Music but moved to singing when she was 15 years old. Eik studied first with Heimi Ingimarsson and later with Þórhildi Örvarsdóttir In 2020, she completed her advanced degree in rhythmic singing. Subsequently, she went on to study for a diploma at the Complete Vocal Institute in Copenhagen.
Eik began studying at the Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2022 in creative music communication, but she decided to also add an extra degree; rhythmic singing and instrument lessons. Eik graduated from creative music communication in the spring of 2025.
Eik has performed widely as a singer and has worked on her own music In 2021, she released the album Lygasögur together with Agli Andrasyn.
