Howie B

Howie B is a Scottish musician, producer, composer and DJ whose work has helped shape the sound of contemporary electronic, club and experimental music. Emerging from Glasgow and London's underground scenes,

Howie B built his craft in studios before becoming a trusted collaborator for some of the most influential artists of the last four decades.  His credits include work with Björk, U2, Tricky, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Soul II Soul, Robbie Robertson, Sly and Robbie, Casino Royale and many more. He co-produced U2’s Pop, distributed to Björk's Post and Homogenic, and produced the hit Mission: Impossible Theme remix by Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr.  Alongside major studio work, Howie B has released a substantial body of music under his own name, including albums such as Music for Babies, Turn the Dark Off, Snatch, Folk and Down with the Dawn. As a DJ, he has broken his instinctive, genre-fluid approach to clubs, festivals and landmark mixes including FabricLive.05.

His work spans records, film, television, advertising and live performance, always driven by deep listening, sonic curiosity and a rare ability to connect underground culture with global resources.

Hiraki Sawa

Hiraki Sawa is a Japanese artist based between London and Kanazawa. Working across moving image, installation, drawing and sculpture, he creates poetic environments that subtly shape perceptions of space and time. His work moves between personal and collective memory, finding quiet university in fleet images, imagined landscapes and everyday experience.  Marked by fragility, wonder and nostalgia, Sawa's practice explorations how remembrance shifts, dissolves and returns.

In 3 Sticks, his moving images enter into a fluid dialogue with Howie B's live music, creating an immersive audiovisual world that reflects on the self as something simultaneously intimate, infinite and continuously in motion.
