The primal urge for action before being chained into the shackles of rationalism is like a dance in a minefield The painting becomes a channel for raw and untamed power as a window opens for the unexpected, where everything is in constant motion without any supervision.
Björn Heimir Önundarson uses the narrative in his works, but mainly as material that he then turns on, distorts and breaks down into particles. He takes his inspiration from artists such as Robert Crumb, Philip Guston and Georg Baselitz.
