Salvör is from Reykjavík and graduated with a BA in film studies from the University of Iceland in 2015. Since then she has worked in the film industry in Iceland and elsewhere, but she aims for a further career as a film writer and editor after graduating from LHÍ. She is most fascinated by fringe culture and her characters tend to be outsiders in society. The director whom Salvör looks up the most to these seasons is Sean Baker, who also tells the stories of fringe groups.
