Charlie James Duyker

The Icelandic landscape is something I have never witnessed before, I'm from the Netherlands where everything is flat and sandy. The rural, beautiful and harsh nature asks for protection and shelter to survive in. The texts and designs people wear to in these fantastic landscapes are extremely modern and calculated. I wanted to use these materials to create more classic silhouettes and let a certain asymmetry appear in the use of texts. I have used tips, sleeping bags, jacket linings and waterproof materials.
