Pétur Nói began piano studies at the age of 6 at the Árnesing Music School with Ester Ólafsdóttir. He completed his advanced degree in organ playing under the guidance of Kára Þormar in the spring of 2022.
For the last three years, Pétur Nói has studied organ with Birni Steinar Sólbergsson at the Iceland Academy of the Arts on a church music course. He completed his church organist degree from the National Church's Music School in the spring of 2023.
Pétur has held organ concerts in Selfoss Church and Hóladómkirkja, played with the Philharmonic Song Orchestra and the Amateur Symphony Orchestra. In recent summers, he worked as a town artist and held regular lunchtime concerts in Hveragerðiskirkja. Pétur Nói was appointed organist at Eyrarbakki Church in the fall of 2023.
