Textile has different effects on the skin Some clothes are designed to protect it than others to beautify or to achieve a certain appearance Nylon tights are inherently very delicate and problematic/bare-shielded textiles They tear very easily and can almost be a disposable garment and are pointless to the skin when it comes to protecting it Riding suits are made of durable materials that act as protective equipment to the conditions and activities for which they are designed I worked with these contrasts and looked at ways to get results that are contrary to the textile's original purpose and found ways to blend it Also, I looked at patterns found in the body.
