After that, Jónína went to Denmark to the public university ‘Musik og Tester’ and emphasized music and sound technology. There, the main teachers were Tom Blancarte and Louise DE Jensen and Pape Arce.
In 2020, Jónína both started studying at FÍH and was under the leadership of Inga Bjarna Skúlason and Phil Doyle in piano performance. At the same time, Jónína began studying at the University of the Arts in Nýmiðlar and completed her BA degree in 2023.
In the same year, Jónína started Rhythmic Vocal and Instrumental Performance at the University of the Arts and has mostly been under the guidance of Hilmar Jensson on guitar and Kristjöna Stefán on vocals. Jónína has been teaching, among other things, in the non-profit organization ‘Læti!’ for the past 2 years, both as a teacher in electronic music and playing instruments.
