Icelanders say „I love“ about many things, little or bigWe love coffee, swimming and our love The work springs from the word love and transforms that feeling into a visual and material world where text, objects and relationships form a whole picture The work can be seen as an attempt to create an antidote to a society where the human is fading, communication is reduced and loneliness increases With an unexpected approach into this world, the project creates a space for connection, community and mood The methodology is based on „nudge“; offering an optional advantage of "really" on anything - and making it visible The work also relies on the unexpected getting more attention than the predictable Messages being conveyed by manifestations of the word love, such as hugs, love, happiness and curiosity.
In Icelandic culture, the phrase “I love is used for many things, big and small. We love coffee, swimming, and love itself. This work grows from the Icelandic phrase I love love (” I feel across a visual and material world where text, objects, and connections form a whole. It can be seen as an idea, society in which is presented and thought of the possibility, and society is presented.
