BA Instrumental Composition

Gabríella Snót Schram (b. 2002) has been composing alongside her violin studies since the age of 7. In 2022, she graduated from the School of Music with a violin as her main instrument and piano and compositions as additional instruments. In the same year, she began studying instrumental composition at the Iceland Academy of the Arts. There, she has been in private lessons with Elína Gunnlaugsdóttir and Sóley Stefánsdóttir. Along with the University of the Arts, Gabríella has taken on various projects, for example composing with short films and guiding at Uptaktinn in Harpa. She also took part in the Summer Concert in Skálholt in the summer of 2023, where she won an award for her work, Verðandi.
