Friða Björg Pétursdóttir
My process was characterized by a gram here and there in history, where I looked at designs from various time intervals I examined, for example, the costume design of plays from Italy and Spain from the 16th century. There was a great deal of color and the silluets were often very exaggerated and strange, which was fun to look at. Also, I was mixed with studying various sculptural works of art that inspired me for form, texture and choice of material. I created lamps in the style of each look as a kind of continuation of the garments, they are one and indispensable without each other.
