Refurinn fylgist með veðrinu sveiflast fram og til baka. Himinninn og landslagið breytir um lit og refurinn fær að finna fyrir breytingum á veðrinu á eigin skinni. Þó að vindurinn blási og þó það komi rigning og slydda þá gengur veðrið alltaf yfir.
The clouds pass in front of the sun, the rain prices down, the wind blows, calm settles in, and then it snows 'ALL on the same day. A Little Fox on a Winter's Day is a book intended for preschool-aged children and tells the story of a small fox traveling through a landscape of mountains and moorland in Iceland. The fox observes the weather shifting back and forth. The sky and landscape change color and the fox gets to feel the changes in the weather on its own skin. Even though the wind blows, and even though there is rain and sleet, the weather eventually passes.
