In Ringulreid: Utopia in a thimble, 2nd-year students in Graphic Design at LHÍ reflect on the idea of utopia through a diverse artistic and design approach Within the circular and narrow exhibition space, diverse works show how new visions can emerge, although the space is small Together, the works make an attempt to approach reality in the middle between dystopia and utopia, thus showing how even the smallest finger rock can hold an idea for a new world.

The exhibition To whom it may concern is the result of a second year except in product design from the course Local Opportunities and Production. There, students studied “ opportunities”, such as underutilized raw materials or contexts where opportunities for increased value creation lie in view of the goals of the circular economy and sustainable development of the chemical cycle, sustainable value creation and the renewal of nature.
The process was marked by active experimentation, the dissemination of ideas and object-oriented creation with the aim of creating things, products or interventions that take into account the context.

Opening is on December 4 at 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Nýlendugatu 14, 3rd floor, light refreshments will be available while supplies last.
The exhibition will be open on Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6, 13 - 18.

In the exhibition To whom it may concern, students in the second year of product design will show the results from the course Local opportunities and production, where they have been researching underutilized materials and experimenting with ways to increase value creation with the circular economy in mind. The projects focus on sustainable product development, the circularity of materials and regulating nature.
This course has been defined by active experimentation, the dissemination of ideas and material creation with the goal of designing objects, products or systems in line with the context of the course.

Opening is on the 4th of December from 18 to 21 on Nýlendugata 14, third floor. Refreshments will be served.
The exhibition will be open Friday 5th of December and Saturday 6th of December 13 - 18.
