Þórunn Ebba Örvarsdóttir (b. 2000) draws with a marker on paper, sketches ideas that she then transfers to three dimensions. The material she uses is natural, wood (a mutant bird with four wings and two steels is laid to rest), clay (face based on a fisheye photograph screams from a mirror-smooth puddle), steel (a life-size body cut with plasma and polished in a spiral) which she shapes according to the instructions of the occult, who always knows what she is doing.
The crooked lines may be crooked, they are glorious.

EMOTIONAL BEING
Carrying all worries, problems and feelings.
To reconcile customs with things as they are,
know they won't get better and can't get any worse.
Being stuck in a vicious circle and never getting out.
Never being ready to get rid of.
To hope, wish, negotiate and grieve.
