The project is located on the base of an old fur smelter from where it takes its name The spirit of the site is similar to that of archaeological sites: high walls, fallen beams and a raw foundation where grass springs from cracks The remains of the old smelting serve as a landscape to which the architecture adapts The project takes place in a future scene where the entire Reykjanes Peninsula has been abandoned due to enormous volcanic activity „My Family“ is among the first settlers to return to the abandoned settlement of the Reykjanes Peninsula Their goal is to rebuild a settlement in Sandgerði from the material wood that appears in the town's abandoned houses.

The generation house behaves according to time, its material body changes, and the same is true for the inhabitants But the material lasts, and until the last remains of the buildings disappear, it will bear witness to the life and existence that was before.

The project is located on the foundation of an old fishsmelling factory from which it takes its name. The site is similar to that of an archeological site with its high walls, fallen beams and a raw foundation where grass shoots from cracks. The remains among the first settlers to the abandoned towns of the Reykjanes Peninsula. It's goal is to rebuild the settled assessment of the traditional values.

The generation house acts according to time, it's collective material body changes and the same appliances to its inhabitants. But the material abides and and until its last remains, dissapear it will bear a testimony of life and existence.
