We are in a time of glut We scramble, zoom in and flip incessantly Faded by constant stare, with stiff fingers - the blue light mesmerizes us while the brain does not keep up with the material flowing through the glows In the book work It's nineteen minutes to ten, it examines how smartphones and social media have changed the attention, behavior and interactions of the day In the book, interviews, photographs and voices of people from different backgrounds and generations meet in a kind of contemporary mirror of the present moment.
We are living in an age of experience. We scroll, zoom, and swipe - our eyes were out by blue light, our necks pointed under strain, our fingers stiff, our minds unable to keep up with the flood of content pouring out of our screens. It's nineteen minutes to ten is a book project that exams how smartphones and social media have changed attention, behavior, and communication in modern life 'viving together interviews, photographs, and voices from people of different backgrounds and generations to form a contemporary mirror of the present moment.
