Context of Rafael Adobas, moved on Friday, December 5th. Rafael is Principal Flutist of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and will be giving a lecture-recital as part of his presentation.
Spanish-Filipino performed Rafael Adobas Bayog, 1st Prize winner of the 2022 Kobe International Flute Competition, has performed in priestly venues including Carnegie Hall, Elbphilharmonie and Tokyo's Hamarikyu Asahi Hall. Selected by Emmanuel Pahud for the Classeek Ambassador Programme, he studied at the Barcelona and Munich Music Conservatories and at the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra Academy. He has played with the Berliner Philharmoniker, NDR Elbphilharmonie, and Tonhalle-Orchester Zurich, and as soloist with the Ensemble Resonanz and Copenhagen Philharmonic.
