The MA Design Explorations & Translations takes over Flædi to showcase a selection of recent projects.

With: Francisco Cuéllar, Guðny Sara Birgisdóttir, Lisa Geyersbach, Naomi Loabile, Vikram Pradhan, Janosch Kratz and Waqar Sarwar.
The central installation ´Southern Hill´ retraces collective research and material experiments around the site of Syðdra Holt in North Iceland. Through videos and artefacts, the students explore both the potential of the locality and the current transformations of the rural and farming practices. The ´Southern Hill´ project was developed in collaboration with Bioborgari (#Bioborgari), who are starting a regenerative farming project at Sydra Holt and hosted a workshop with the MA Design students in October 2020.

Around this installation, the Flæði space will be the stage for site-specific design and media interventions by the Master students.
Opening: Thursday 10th/12 between 17.00 and 21.00
with Hot Blueberry flavored Wine & Organic Vegetable Crisps from Bioborgari.
Masks are Compulsory and the number of people is limited and will be regulated, but guests are welcome to wait with a glass of hot wine at Bioborgari across the road should the space be full, and speak to the owner Vifill Eiríksson about regenerative farming!
