    At the edge of the new lava, where the power of the eruption can still be perceived, a building is formed by ideas of achievement and recovery There is a performance camp for 20 athletes who come to islands to focus on succeeding in their sport The camp creates conditions for concentration and discipline, while also a strong sense of togetherness in close contact with nature.
    \nThe building's form reflects the tension and energy of the users, with diagonal walls and dynamic shapes connecting with the lava and being shaped by the landscape At its core is a common space that opens up to views of town and sea while sleeping and recovery spaces provide calm and balance.
    \nThe project seeks to create an environment where training and mental and physical recovery go together in close interaction with dramatic landscapes.<\/p>\n

    At the edge of a newly formed lava field, where the force of eruption is still tangible, a building shaped by ideas of achievement and recovery emerges. It houses a training camp for 20 athletes who come to the Westman Islands to focus fully on reaching peak performance in their sport. The camp encourages focus, discipline, and collective living in close relationship with the landscape.
    \nIts architecture expressions intensity and movement through angled walls and strong, grounded forms that connect directly to the surrounding lava. At its core is a shared space that opens toward views of the town and the sea, creating a sense of connection and orientation In contrast, the more private areas for rest and recovery are designed to provide calm, balance, and a place to withdraw.
    \nThe project explorations how physical training and mental restoration can coexist within a
    \npowerful and ever-changing landscape.<\/p>\n
