    Luck can have a big impact on how your life plays out In 1987, Icelanders finally had the opportunity to test their luck in convenience stores and at the country's gas stations when the University of Iceland Lottery introduced lucky threes to the story. These were tiny scratch cards that gave you the opportunity to win hundreds of thousands of ISK in an instant. The design of the tickets is decorative and peculiar. The imagery is fixed, but the tickets have changed over the centuries.
