The spirit of the theater seized Sigurhans by photographing everything from portraits of the sewing studio and lectures behind the scenes to spectacular scenes and well-equipped theatergoers. The book Vignir's Theater photographs publishes 95 photographs by Sigurhan that put theater life in the middle of the last century in the spotlight again.<\/p>\n<p>(T.O.N.<\/p>\n<p>As the curtains rise and actors step on the stage, a world unfolds through the lens of Sigurhans Vignir, who memorably documented the life and work of the National Theater on film between 1950 -1965. His photographs capture the spirit of the theater, from glimpses of the costume atelier and backstage readers to grand stage designs and elegant theater-goers. The book Theater photographs Vignir presents 95 photographs that shed light on this history, offering it a renewed life and bringing it back into the spotlight.<\/p>\n<p><i>Photos: Claudio Parada
