BA Singing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sigur Huldar Ellerup Geirs studied Domus Vox with Hanna Bj\u00f6rk Gu\u00f0j\u00f3nsd\u00f3ttir in 2015 and completed a basic exam in singing. Sigur then began studying M\u00cdT and completed his matriculation exam in classical singing under the guidance of Sigr\u00fan Hj\u00e1lmt\u00fdsd\u00f3ttir. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent seasons, H\u00e1n has studied at the singing department of the Iceland Academy of the Arts under the guidance of Hanna D\u00f3ra Sturlud\u00f3ttir, D\u00edsella L\u00e1rusd\u00f3ttir and Kristins Sigmundsson. Sigur has been in choirs all her life and had the opportunity to participate in various projects on their behalf. With the chamber choir Aurora, Sigur played in the musical 9L\u00edf um Bubba Morthens, which was shown 250 times on the big stage of the City Theater and with the musical and performing arts choir Vi\u00f0lagi, h\u00e1n took part in the production of the exhibition, We are here\u201d, but it was shown to a full house in Tjarnarb\u00ed\u00f3 from October 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his studies, Sigur has taken on various roles from the opera literature, and among the roles that have been played are: Pastore in La liberazione di Ruggiero dall'isola di Alcina by Francesca Caccini, Dr. Blind from Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss II, The Witch in Hans and Gretel by Engelbert Humperdinck. H\u00e1n has also participated in opera days and thus played the role of Hanna, after\u201d in the opera As One by Laura Kaminsky, under the direction of \u00d6rna Magneu Danks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
