    This collection celebrates diverse expressions of femininity through a playful lens.<\/span>\u202f\u202f<\/span>I explore the concept of \u2018alternative femininity\u2019; an idea that challenges the narrow standards of beauty and femininity imposed by hegemonic values. Using the Victorian era\u2014characterized by its restrictive norms and exclusivity\u2014as a starting point, the collection manipulates familiar motifs and elements to convey a rough, raw, and unruly energy; encouraging a dialogue that embraces individuality and creativity while promoting discourse surrounding the oppressive and exclusive standards upheld by hegemonic ideals.<\/span>\u202f<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
