I knit each pixel individually, a pixel that was once part of the digital whole, the photograph. The pixel becomes a pitch, knitted from coarse wool yarn. I know another pitch, and then another. Gradually, a new, tangible whole takes shape. What is it that I'm holding? Is this still a photograph? Or has it become something else?<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
