The study includes that the primary goal of art teaching in kindergarten is to nurture creativity. To achieve this, activities defined as creative or artistic should be priorized, while those classified as craft, or recipes with pre-determined outcomes, should be avoided.<\/p>\n<p>This conclusion is derived from a thematic analysis of interviews and a review of relevant theory. Interviews were concluded with eight professionals experienced in teaching kindergarten, teaching art to kindergarteners, or both.
