Clay artists often mix other materials with it to make the clay more manageable In this project, however, pure Icelandic clay is used as material. It is taken from the soil in selected areas and processed on site. Differences are prepared that materialize the relationship between the environment, geological history and the area from which the clay comes. The design mirrors where and how the difference was made.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW149832791 BCX0\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW149832791 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"Normal (Web)\">\u202f<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW149832791 BCX0\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW149832791 BCX0\" data-ccp-parastyle=\"Normal (Web)\">With low burning or without burning, space is created for experimental activities, but also an opportunity to return the difference and therefore the clay back to the soil - and thus it is prevented from being transformed into man-made stone.
