    This master's thesis is an indicator of a creative textbook for young beginners in piano playing, a kind of pre-school for young piano students The book is designed for 4-6 year olds and is based on teaching piano technique in small steps where the child gets to know the instrument with mind and hands through play, creativity, improvisation and his own compositions. Also, the child learns rhythm reading, music reading and connecting the keyboard's musical name to traditional notation Young children have a strong built-in ability to receive information, especially if the steps are small, simple and take place both through mind and body, in a safe and cheerful environment. A good foundation strengthens the students' identity and stays in hand with safety in all mannerisms. It is important for the empowerment and personal development of the child.<\/p>\n

    The thesis is done in the spirit of staff research and in it my experience as a music teacher is intertwined for almost 20 years and the theoretical background that supports the material Many ideas of previous teachers have developed over the years and provide a channel for my curriculum. I also rely on journaling that I have done throughout my studies. If a young child has the opportunity to create and express himself on the piano before traditional piano learning takes place, he should find it easier to learn the content of traditional piano textbooks and go over them faster. With creative beginner teaching, the keyboard can attract the joy of play and creativity that both are natural to each child, if the child gets motivation and good ground to grow in This is equally useful to the child in classical learning as well as rhythmic, but it is important that the students have had the opportunity to express themselves on both in their studies.<\/p>\n
