\u00de\u00f3rhildur H\u00f3lmgeirsd\u00f3ttir grew up in Stykkish\u00f3lmi and studied piano there with her father, H\u00f3lmgeir Sturla \u00de\u00f3rsteinsson from the age of 7 until she went to the Akureyri High School at the age of 16. Her teacher in a music course in MA was \u00de\u00f3rarinn Stef\u00e1nsson. After her secondary exam and graduation at the Music School in Akureyri, she started studying at the Iceland Academy of the Arts under the guidance of Peter M\u00e1t\u00e9 and Edda Erlendsd\u00f3ttir.
\u00de\u00f3rhildur has participated in many courses and projects at the University of the Arts. These include Crossing Keyboards, where she played concerts in Estonia, Latvia, Finland and Sweden. \u00de\u00f3rhildur has also attended master classes with guest teachers who have visited LH\u00cd.
\u00de\u00f3rhildur is now aiming for continued studies in music, where she emphasizes theater and musical music.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\t
