She is currently doing postgraduate studies in art research within the collaborative project Iceland University of the Arts, the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Iceland and the Icelandic Museum of Art. Her exhibition at the Art Museum in Akureyri is held in connection with the milestone in the research project.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-39303\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lhi.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Flagship-kynning-printing-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1152\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lhi.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Flagship-kynning-printing-scaled.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/www.lhi.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Flagship-kynning-printing-18x10.jpg 18w, https:\/\/www.lhi.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Flagship-kynning-printing-1800x1013.jpg 1800w, https:\/\/www.lhi.is\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Flagship-kynning-printing-800x450.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px\" \/>Berglind has participated in group exhibitions and collaborative projects around the world and also held quite a few solo exhibitions She has developed a method of artistic practice that involves highlighting specific, hidden aspects of phenomena, such as places, buildings and objects. It involves thinking of works of art and research as vacuum cleaners that suck up and shape what she calls contrast material. In this work, she creates a contrast-based vacuum cleaner using the artwork Song Entertainment by \u00deorvald \u00deorsteinsson (1998); collects fragments, plot points and micro-stories from its production, as well as remains and traces accumulated from its travels and storage.
