March 202<\/span><span class=\"s5\">6<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"s7\">Received to: <span class=\"s8\"><a href=\"mailto:threads@lhi.is\">threads@lhi.is<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"s7\">Text should be submitted as a.doc\/docx file. Image files should be sent separately: 300dpi (.tif, .png, .jpg). The Chicago style is used (https:\/\/vefir.hi.is\/chicagoleidbones\/).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"s4\">Emphasis will be placed on an open platform and flexibility regarding text types, approach and content:<\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\" style=\"padding-left: 40px\">Academic articles, discussion of composition\/performance, artistic approach, methodology, translations, artistic manifestos (statements), casual musings regarding musical work\/teaching\/art of authors or others are examples of types of texts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\">Authors are encouraged to take advantage of the publication's digital environment and add audio, video and video files.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\"><strong><span class=\"s10\">Peer review<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nAuthors can now request peer review of their article, but the editorial board decides whether a manuscript is sent for peer review. This time only peer review will be in Icelandic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\">The website emphasizes the Icelandic language, but texts in English will also be received.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\"><strong><span class=\"s5\">More about Threads<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong>With the web publication, we want to increase the activity of research in the field of music, create new opportunities and incentives, preserve and share knowledge and be a platform for perspectives within music. Threads emphasize discourse about music in the Icelandic language.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s11\"><strong><span class=\"s10\">Criteria for submitted text<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong>Types of texts: Academic articles, discussion of compositions\/performances, artistic approach, methodology, translations, artistic manifestos (statements), casual musings regarding the music work\/teaching\/art of the person or others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\">The magazine is open to suggestions in each case regarding content or text types, and here we can mention, for example, a review or evaluation of books, CDs, concerts, festivals, and more.
