{"id":26717,"date":"2025-08-20T12:34:35","date_gmt":"2025-08-20T12:34:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lhi.is\/?p=26717"},"modified":"2025-08-20T12:34:35","modified_gmt":"2025-08-20T12:34:35","slug":"young-soloists-2026-application-deadline-exists-and-including-october-15-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lhi.is\/en\/ungir-einleikarar-2026-umsoknarfrestur-er-til-og-med-15-oktober-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"YOUNG SOLOISTS 2026 The application deadline is up to and including October 15, 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"text-section txt-columns txt-content\" >\n\t<div class=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"row animation-child-elements animation-bottom\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-md-12\">\n\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"209\" data-end=\"424\">This year, the competition, Young Soloists, will take place for the twenty-first time and continues the remarkable tradition of giving young musicians the opportunity to take the stage with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra.<br \/>\nThe application deadline is up to and including October 15, 2025.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"426\" data-end=\"609\">The competition is intended for students in instrumentation and singing, aged 30 and under, who are Icelandic citizens or have lived in Iceland for at least one year.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"426\" data-end=\"609\">It takes place in two rounds:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"750\">\n<li data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"679\">\n<p data-start=\"612\" data-end=\"679\">In the previous round, participants are evaluated by submitted video recordings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"680\" data-end=\"750\">\n<p data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"750\">In the second round, which takes place at the beginning of January, 8 -10 contestants perform works for a jury.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"960\">All applicants are asked to familiarize themselves with it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lhi.is\/en\/rules-of-young-soloists\/\">competition rules<\/a> a well-but-electronic application form can be found below.
