The Foundry's educational meeting or FS25 was held last January 24. The foundry delivered a grant of 500 thousand ISK to the Architecture Department of the Iceland Academy of the Arts. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The foundry and the Architecture Department of the University of the Arts will then provide the grants for the outstanding final projects in the Master's program in Architecture (MA.rch). The project that deals with environmentally friendly solutions, sustainability or innovation related to concrete will be considered and<\/span>\/or <\/span>construction industry<\/span>inum. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dean of Architecture Massimo Santanicchi accepted the grant at the Foundry's Educational Forum. In which he thanked the Form for \u201c in promoting sustainability and for supporting the value and role of education through special recognition of the work of the Academy of Arts.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

J\u00f3n\u00edna \u00de\u00f3ra Einarsd\u00f3ttir <\/span>The leader of Sustainability, Quality and Security and Viktor Sigurj\u00f3nsson, the market manager of the Foundry, then got to know the architecture department when they came for a formal visit to Stakkahl\u00ed\u00f0. There they got an insight into the work of the department and met students in architecture. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Good morning, everyone<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

My name is Massimo Santanicchia and I am a professor of architecture and dean of the Faculty of Architecture at the Iceland Academy of the Arts.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On behalf of the school, I would like to convey my valuable gratitude to the Foundry and the 2025 Educational Forum for this grant The scholarship will be awarded to Master of Architecture students who design and work on the \u201c most sustainable graduation project.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thanks to the Foundry and Education Congress 2025 for promoting sustainability and for supporting the value and role of education through special recognition of the work of the University of the Arts.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I would like to express my view on sustainability While technological innovations are a fundamental driving force for a more sustainable world, We need to understand that sustainability is the journey of society as a whole A community is created by gaining new awareness and perception, by creating new solutions, activating new patterns of behavior and thus cultural change.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With that in mind, I accept this grant on behalf of the Iceland Academy of the Arts.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
