{"id":16509,"date":"2024-10-16T13:50:31","date_gmt":"2024-10-16T13:50:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lhi.is\/?p=16509"},"modified":"2024-10-16T14:04:01","modified_gmt":"2024-10-16T14:04:01","slug":"masters-students-of-the-music-and-sports-department-in-hjaltadal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lhi.is\/en\/meistaranemar-tonlistar-og-svidslistadeildar-a-holum-i-hjaltadal\/","title":{"rendered":"Master's students of the Department of Music and Performing Arts at the Iceland University of the Arts in H\u00f3lum in Hjaltadal"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"text-section txt-columns txt-content\" >\n\t<div class=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"row animation-child-elements animation-bottom\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-md-12\">\n\t\t\t\t<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><strong>First-year master's students from LH\u00cd's music and performing arts departments spent one week in H\u00f3lar in Hjaltadal last September.<br \/>\n<\/strong>There, the students had the opportunity to experience the nature, culture and history of this ancient place. The group experimented with interdisciplinary cooperation and thereby laid the foundation for a strong platform for joint artistic creation in the coming two years that it will study together. The group enjoyed excellent facilities and facilities offered by the University of H\u00f3lum and H\u00f3lad\u00f3mkirkja, but both the cathedral and the medieval building Au\u00f0unnarstofa hosted numerous compositions, recordings, performances and various other fiction, but the university and the entire environment of the place were also used particularly well for joint creation and inspiration. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The course is an important part of the adaptation of NAIP Master's students (New Audiences and Innovative Practice) to their studies, and this is the 15th year in a row that such a course is held in some form. On all occasions, students from other arts and\/or other art universities in Europe and elsewhere have participated in the course, broadening the cultural background of the group as a whole and promoting diverse and critical dialogue. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Ever since 2021, students from the Master of Performing Arts have participated, and this has borne fruit in the form of various collaborative projects across the school's departments, some of which have continued after the graduation of the students in question.
