Hallveig explores what steps each party can take towards the center, hoping to better define who the center is and who the center can be; with a special emphasis on the director's responsibility in the process. Previously, she studied literature and gender studies at the University of Iceland. Gr\u00e9ta has worked in performing arts since 2016 and directed exhibitions in all major performing arts institutions in the country and also in the independent scene, and she is one of the founding members and producer of the theater group Stertabendu. Gr\u00e9ta received the Gr\u00edmu Award as Start of the Year in 2017 and was nominated for Gr\u00edmunn as director of the year 2017 for the exhibition Stertabendu and for the exhibition B\u00e6ng! in 2019. Gr\u00e9ta is an associate professor and professional director of the stage writer's program at the Iceland Academy of the Arts.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">(T.O.N.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\"><strong>Greta Krist\u00edn \u00d3marsd\u00f3ttir<\/strong> graduated with a BA degree in Theater and performance making from Iceland University of the Arts in 2016 and an MA degree in Directing from the University of the Arts in Helsinki's Theater Academy in 2023. His works often deal with Western morality and capitalistic<br \/>\nalienation - focusing on the cracks in our social values.<\/p>\n<p>After finishing his undergraduate studies at the Iceland University of the Arts (BAin Theater and Performance), he graduated as a theater director (MA in Drama<br \/>\ndirecting) from DAMU - the esteemed theatre academy in Prague. His works have<br \/>\nbeen performed in Iceland (The National Theater of Iceland, Tjarnarb\u00ed\u00f3 Theater),<br \/>\nPoland (Gda\u0144ski Teatr Szekspirowski) and the Czech Republic (Divadlo DISK) - and<br \/>\nhave been translated into Czech, English, German and Polish. Since 2024, Songbird,<br \/>\none of Scandinavia's biggest theatre agencies, has represented him.<\/p>\n<p>Adolf was named as Director of the Year and Newcomer of the Year at the<br \/>\nIcelandic Theater Awards 2021 (Gr\u00edman) for his direction of the contemporary<br \/>\nopera Nothing is sadder than the person - by the Icelandic composer Fri\u00f0rik<br \/>\nMargr\u00e9tar-Gu\u00f0mundsson. The opera consistently was invited to perform at the<br \/>\nGda\u0144ski Teatr Szekspirowski, one of Poland's biggest contemporary theaters. His<br \/>\ngraduation piece from DAMU, Ko\u010dka na kolej\u00edch, a modern adaptation of Josef<br \/>\nTopol's most famous text, played for almost two years at the DISK theater in<br \/>\nPrague. He tells how the idea of a work where a set is in the main role was born and the organization of exercises aimed at creating into the world of the swimming pool. Take Flight Beib\u00ed is Kolbr\u00fan's first work that the National Theater buys from her and will be staged in the fall of 2024. Ilmur graduated as an artist from MH\u00cd and completed a Masters in Art from Goldsmiths College. She has shown her art and made a number of performances in Iceland and abroad.
