His work can also be heard both live and on recordings with African artists like Cheikh L\u00f4 and Oumou Sangar\u00e9, as well as Swedish singers Lisa Nilsson, Robyn and Marie Fredriksson.<\/p>\n<p>Sebastian has a special connection to Iceland as the grandson of singer Maria Markan and son of drummer P\u00e9tur \u00d6stlund. For the first time, he will be hosting a workshop in Iceland to discuss rhythm and the keys to understanding musical languages-with a focus on Brazilian music-and share how he became one of the most recorded percussionists in the country. This workshop is open to all musicians and singers, respectless of experience.
