In her lecture titled Musicians\u2019 Health, Iulia will discuss the topic of musicians\u2019 well-being <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iulia Toma brings unique dual expertise as both a pianist-educator and medical professional. For seven years, she has taught piano, accompaniment, and chamber music at the Faculty of Music and Theatre (FMT), West University of Timi\u0219oara (Romania). Iulia is also in her medical residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Municipal Emergency Clinical Hospital in Timisoara (Romania). Her PhD (summa cum laude) bridged piano performance and pianists&#8217; health, leading her to establish Romania&#8217;s first musicians&#8217; health course at university level in FMT. Through research, publications, workshops for music schools, universities, and philharmonic orchestras, she champions injury-free performance.
