Hafnarh\u00fas.<\/p>\n<p>Haus der Kunst has undergone major structural changes since 2022 The museum dedicates its activities to living artists, at the same time proposing a new art historical approach that questions older norms, stereotypes and discourses guided by the vision of the exhibition program at Haus der Kunst is based on the \u201c of the agenda, regardless of the hierarchy of departments.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Andrea Lissoni is the artistic director of Haus der Kunst He bases the exhibition program on a multidisciplinary approach, which runs across generations and deeply connects different artistic approaches He began work in April 2022 with TUNE, a series of sound and guest workshops and a series of exhibitions with works by artists such as Fujiko Nakaya, Dumb Type, Carsten Nicolai, Christine Sun Kim, Tony Cokes and Karrabing Film Collective The gift was followed by the series Inside Other Spaces Then came the exhibition Environment by women artists 1956 IN 1976, together with exhibitions with WangShui, Martin Gamper and Meredith Monk, and solo exhibitions Pan Daijing, Liliane Lijn, Rebecca Horn, Pussy Riot and Philippe Parreno, and Philippe Lissoni sits on the advisory board of Fundacao Serrales, and Lascio Passio Passio and Prazione Passio.<\/p>\n<p>Discussion threads is a joint project of the Center for Fine Arts, the Iceland University of the Arts and the Reykjav\u00edk Museum of Art. In connection with the project, since 2012, people who are recognized in the international art world, in the field of artistic creation, studies or exhibition management have been invited to create a platform in Iceland for international connections and discussions; the visitors get to know Icelandic art life and teach visitors as well as present their own works and topics of interest through open lectures at the Reykjav\u00edk Art Museum.<\/p>\n<p>The lecture will take place in English.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\/\/<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Andrea Lissioni Artistic Director of Haus der Kunst will give a talk in Hafnarh\u00fas Thursday evening 2 October at 20h00<\/p>\n<p>Since 2022, Haus der Kunst has been in a fast process of motion and transformation. They dedicate their work to living artists, proposing new lines in art history, questioning the previous canon, stereotypes, and rituals with an outlook into the future. Grounded on a transdisciplinary, transnational, and transgenerational perspective, the program is based on the assumption that \u201cEverything is Program,\u201d without hierarchies between departments.<\/p>\n<p>As the main operation tool, the program explicitly interlinks all projects to form a common learning and engagement thread evolving through the years, and fostering a new context that revelops with a strong understanding of the increasingly digitalized world in which we live.<\/p>\n<p>Andrea Lissoni, PhD, is Artistic Director of Haus der Kunst. His curatorial program is based on transdisciplinary and transgenerational applications in which all beaches of artistic practices are deeply connected and started in April 2022 with the sound and music residency series TUNE and the series of intertwined exhibitions by Fujiko Nakaya, Dumb Type, Carsten Nicolai, Christine Sun Kim, Tony Cokes, Karrabing Film Collective. The series continued with Inside Other Spaces by Women Artists 1956, all-side shows by WangShui, Martino Gamper and developed by Panino, and developed further, with the Society of P.<\/p>\n<p>The Talk Series program breasts the flourishing ideas and diverse practices within the international contemporary art scene to the Icelandic art community and the public at large. Each guest is asked to offer an insight into the field through a public lecture at the Reykjavik Art Museum, studio visits and a seminar at the Department of Fine Art as well as an introduction to the Icelandic art scene through practices to practice artists studios and the gallery and museum scene. The overall aim of the program is to support a stronger local aspects and broader perspectives of contemporary art.
